Library . Bitly . OAuth

This bundle contains functions to help generate OAuth access tokens for your application's users.

  • Setup Instructions
      • To use the Choreos in this bundle you'll need a Bitly account. If you don't already have one, you can sign up here.
      • Register your application in order to get a Bitly Client ID and Client Secret.
      When registering your app at Bitly, specify this callback URL for the Application Link and then save the configuration:
      https://{Your Temboo Account Name}.temboolive.com/callback/bitly
      • Run the InitializeOAuth choreo, specifying the Client ID and Client Secret from the app you registered at Bitly. The InitializeOAuth choreo will return an authorization URL and a callback ID (required for the FinalizeOAuth step).
      • Open a new web browser, navigate to the authorization URL returned by the InitializeOAuth choreo, and click "allow" to grant the app access to your Bitly account.
      • Run the FinalizeOAuth choreo, specifying the callback ID returned earlier by the InitializeOAuth choreo, to obtain an OAuth access token that can be used to access the Bitly API.
