Library . Foursquare . OAuth

This bundle contains functions to help generate OAuth access tokens for your application's users.

  • Setup Instructions
      • To use the Choreos in this bundle you'll need a Foursquare account. If you don't already have one, you can sign up here.
      • Register your app in order to get a Foursquare Client ID and Client Secret.
      When registering your app at Foursquare, specify this callback URL:
      https://{Your Temboo Acount Name}.temboolive.com/callback/
      • Run the InitializeOAuth choreo, specifying the Client ID and Client Secret from the app you registered at Foursquare. The InitializeOAuth choreo will return an authorization URL and a callback ID (required for the FinalizeOAuth step).
      • Open a new web browser, navigate to the authorization URL returned by the InitializeOAuth choreo, and click "allow" to grant the app access to your Foursquare account.
      • Run the FinalizeOAuth choreo, specifying the callback ID returned earlier by the InitializeOAuth choreo, to obtain an OAuth access token that can be used to access the Foursquare API.
