Returns the value of the last cell in a specified column.

  • Input
    • ClientID The Client ID provided by Google. Required unless providing a valid AccessToken.
    • ClientSecret The Client Secret provided by Google. Required unless providing a valid AccessToken.
    • RefreshToken An OAuth Refresh Token used to generate a new Access Token when the original token is expired. Required unless providing a valid AccessToken.
    • ColumnName The name of the column that the cell value is in. This should be the value in row 1 of the column you wish to search.
    • SpreadsheetKey The unique key of the spreadsheet to query. Required unless SpreadsheetName and WorksheetName are supplied.
    • WorksheetId The unique ID of the worksheet to query. Required unless SpreadsheetName and WorksheetName are supplied.

    • This Choreo returns the value of the last cell in a specified column. To parse and return this cell data, the Choreo retrieves a feed of rows for the spreadsheet. This feed begins after the first row (which contain your column names) and will end at the first blank row. If you find that expected data isn't appearing in the Choreo result, check the worksheet for an unexpected blank row in the middle of the data, and remove it.

      Note that your spreadsheet needs to contain column names. Not all column names are supported for the SearchColumn input. Google will rename column names if they contain various special characters that are illegal as XML element names. This Choreo contains special handling to support column names with uppercase letters, spaces, and underscores. Column names that begin with a digit are not supported.

      There are two options for specifying the spreadsheet and worksheet you want to query:

      • You can provide the SpreadsheetKey and WorksheetId which can be retrieved easily using the /Library/Google/Spreadsheets/RetrieveSpreadsheetsByName Choreo
      • You can provide the SpreadsheetName and WorksheetName. This option will lookup the spreadsheet details by name before making the request.

      Here is an example of acceptable inputs:

      ClientID: {YOUR CLIENT ID}
      ClientSecret: {YOUR CLIENT SECRET}
      RefreshToken: {YOUR REFRESH TOKEN}
      SpreadsheetName: SensorData
      WorksheetName: Sheet1
      Column: SensorValue

      With the above input set, the CellValue output will contain the last cell value in the Column named "Sensor Value".
