This Choreo uses your MailChimp API Key to authenticate your account with MailChimp, and adds or updates multiple Maichimp list subscribers with a JSON input that you provide.
The JSON that you provide in the Subscribers input should contain the exact column names that correspond to your list. You must at least provide an EMAIL field (this can also be referred to as MERGE0). You can see how your fields are labeled by going to the Lists section of the MailChimp website, and choosing the "List Fields and Merge Tags" option for the list that you are wanting to work with. Here is an example of a JSON input representing columns: EMAIL,FNAME,LNAME:
[ { "EMAIL": "john@temboo.com", "FNAME": "John", "LNAME": "Smith" }, { "EMAIL": "paul@temboo.com", "FNAME": "Paul", "LNAME": "Johnson" } ]
Optional inputs such as DoubleOptIn, ReplaceInterests, and UpdateExisting are parameters that are applied to the entire list you submit.
The SupressErrors input can be used to ignore any errors that occur during the batch subscribe process. When this parameter is set to 1, any emails that are not successful will be appended to the ErrorList output. The SupressErrors input is disabled by default, so if an error occurs, the Choreo will stop and return the MailChimp error.
This Choreo will return a list of email addresses that were successfully subscribed in an output called SuccessList. The following is a sample of the JSON information returned by this Choreo:
[ { "EMAIL": "john@temboo.com" }, { "EMAIL": "paul@temboo.com" } ]
