This bundle includes functionality for working with the Excel tables.

  • Setup Instructions

    • To use these Choreos:

      • You must have an Office 365 Business account. If you don't already have one, you can sign up for a free trial here.
      • You'll also need a Client ID and Client Secret. You can retrieve these by going to the Microsoft app registration portal.
      • Choose Add an app and enter a name for your app (e.g. My Temboo Test App).
      • Under the Platform section, add a new platform, and select Web as the platform type. Specify this Redirect URI, replacing "TEMBOO_ACCOUNT_NAME" with your own Temboo account name:
       https://TEMBOO_ACCOUNT_NAME.temboolive.com/callback/microsoft
      • Under the Microsoft Graph Permissions section, add the desired permissions under Delegated Permissions. When using Excel Choreos, you'll typically want to add the Files.ReadWrite permission.
      • Under Properties, you'll see an Application Id. This is also known as your Client ID.
      • Under the Application Secrets, click Generate New Password. The generated value will be your Client Secret.
      • On the Temboo website, run the Microsoft > OAuth > InitializeOAuth Choreo, specifying the Client ID from the app you registered at Microsoft and the following Scope:
      Files.ReadWrite
      • Open a new browser tab and visit the Authorization URL returned by the InitializeOAuth Choreo. When prompted, log in to your Microsoft account and grant access. You will redirect to the Redirect URI specified during the registration process.
      • Now run the Microsoft > OAuth > FinalizeOAuth Choreo, specifying the Callback ID returned earlier by the InitializeOAuth Choreo.
      • At this point, you'll be able to use your Client ID, Client Secret, Username, and Password to access your Office 365 account via the API.

      Note: if you are building an application that needs to access Microsoft accounts for multiple users, you'll need to pass the Access Token returned by the FinalizeOAuth Choreo to authenticate your application's users. You can use the Refresh Token with the Microsoft > OAuth > RefreshToken Choreo when an Access Token expires.
