Library . PagerDuty . Events

This bundle includes functionality for creating events that allow PagerDuty to either open a new incident or update an existing incident.

  • Setup Instructions

    • To use the Choreos in this bundle:

      1. Sign up for a PagerDuty account.
      2. In the Configure menu, select Services and click the Add Services button.
      3. Enter a name for the service and select an escalation policy.
      4. Select "Use our API directly" for the Integration Type.
      5. Click the "Add Service" button.
      6. Once the service has been created, you'll see a Service Key, which is required for the Choreos within this bundle.

    • PagerDuty.Events.AcknowledgeEvent

      Updates the state of an incident to "acknowleged", and allows you to log data to an incident log.

    • PagerDuty.Events.ResolveEvent

      Updates the state of an incident to "resolved", and allows you to log data to an incident log.

      Triggers an event that will open a new incident or log an entry to an existing incident.
